Hunter is a quality young horse with a lovely temperament and a bright future ahead of him. Lightly shown to date, he would excel in the showing ring and has all the attributes to make a fantastic all-rounder.

He is a pleasure to hack both alone and in company, is sensible in open spaces, and has recently started jumping whilst in our care, showing plenty of promise. He happily plods along when asked but also has another gear when required.

Hunter has been with the same owner for the last four years, having arrived from Ireland as a 2yr old. He was carefully produced at home, with two years of groundwork before being backed as a 4yr. He has been steadily brought on in his ridden work, with hacking introduced gradually to build his confidence.

He has always proved willing and genuine with reassurance.

Importantly, Hunter has never bucked, bolted, or reared under saddle, making him a safe and straightforward ride. As a recently turned 6yr old, he is still green in places and continues to learn, so he would suit someone who enjoys producing a quality horse further.

Showing Record

* Started competing in-hand and ridden from October 2025.

* Supreme Champion at his very first show.

* Reserve Champion at another outing.

* Consistently placed 1st and 2nd across numerous shows.

* Competed in STARS points shows from March 2026. Qualified in both Ridden Open Cob and Heavy Horse classes.

* Also qualified in the same classes in-hand.

We believe Hunter has all the qualities to make a superb dressage horse, top-class show horse, or working show horse. With his movement, presence, and willing attitude, he has the potential to excel in a variety of disciplines.

Hunter is Good in the stable. Never kicks or bites. Good with the farrier and dentist. Good to clip, although slightly sensitive around his ears and head.

Loads and travels well, just appreciates a little encouragement.

Good with children. Prefers female riders.

A genuine, kind horse with a fantastic foundation and a very exciting future. Hunter is only for sale as he is surplus to requirements, and we would love to see him continue his journey with someone who will enjoy and appreciate him.
